Faith-Based Values

The Christian message of God’s grace, love, and forgiveness is the foundation of all learning. The Jr-Kindergarten program at Faith Preschool Academy encourages children to grow in all developmental areas while experiencing God’s love. On a daily basis there is a Bible lesson, carried out through music & movement, language development, motor skills activities, creative arts, social/emotional development, sensory exploration, and outdoor play. Most importantly, the teachers at Faith Preschool Academy incorporate Christ’s love into their lesson plans and demonstrate His love throughout each and every day.

Safe, Secure, & Nurturing Environment

Our safe and enriching program focuses on all aspects of creative learning. Hands on activities encompass exciting monthly themes which include nutrition, cooking, holidays, dinosaurs and safety, to name just a few.
The Jr-Kindergarten class rotates to a variety of learning centers which offer items to help stimulate young imaginative minds. Abeka Phonics is introduced with blending letters to assure pre-reading skills, creative writing and circle -time readings.
Calendar- time introduces them to the days of the week and the months of the year. Patterns, graphing, simple math and science activities are included in the weekly program. Music, movement, and playground times are a favorite part of each day. Children’s art is proudly displayed around the room as a reinforcement of their fine motor development. Fine motor skills are used daily as they participate in themed take home projects. Their individuality is appreciated and their achievements are applauded.
Positive discipline methods are used so the children do not feel singled out or embarrassed. Preparing these young minds for kindergarten is a primary goal of the teachers as they encourage verbal skills, teach self-help skills and promote self-assurance.
