Laurie Pichavant, Lead Teacher
I am the proud mother of 3 boys, as well as a proud Jr. Kindergarten Teacher. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Arkansas State University and I have been working with children for 24 years. I started as a gymnastics coach at age 16, then worked as a social worker, and finally as an Early Childhood educator. I have always had a passion for working with children. I found Faith Preschool Academy 6 years ago when my husband and I moved from Arkansas with my then 2 and 4 year old sons. Faith stood out above all the other schools because of the friendly, professional staff, Christian atmosphere, and curriculum. I was very excited when I received the opportunity to become a teacher at Faith Preschool, where I am able to develop young minds, while growing big hearts for God. While I have worked in different positions over the years, my love for and commitment to the school and the love I have for children has always been strong.
